Dalphene Wardell, 74, of Burnside, Ky (formerly of Russell Co) died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at the Huntsville Manor Nursing Home in Huntsville, TN.

Funeral service for Dalphene Wardell will be 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. David Tucker officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, October 12, 2013. Burial in the Parks Ridge Cemetery. Special Music, by Starlene Popplewell.



Honorary Pallbearers: Philip Hall, Jason Baugh.

Active Pallbearers: Trevor Henderson, Matt Tomlison, David Gross, Mel Good, Robert Henderson, and Darrell Merritt.

She was born February 28, 1939 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clisby & Velna Coffey Stephens. She died Thursday, October 10, 2013, in Huntsville, Scott County, TN, at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 10 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Parks Ridge Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Wardell and a brother, Jerry Stephens.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two children: Heather (James Eric) Henderson, Burnside, KY, and Eric (Jill) Wardell, Somerset, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Hadley Henderson, Abbey Haste, and Connor Haste
