She was a native of Hart County, KY, and a resident of Green County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Vernon Wright and Magdalene Crump Wright. She leaves three direct living descendants. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Allendale Missionary Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

Anita Doris Wright Ford, 73 of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.

The funeral services for Anita Doris Wright Ford will be conducted at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Munfordville Cemetery. Bro. Greg Whitlow will be officiating. Visitation is requested 3pm-8pmCT/4pm-9pmET, Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amET, Thursday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: John Frank Dean, Lewis Warren, Neal Marcum, Eddie Wood, Milby Dale Thompson, Michael Price, Mark Wright, and Jimmy Gordon Judd.

Anita Doris Wright Ford of Greensburg, KY was the daughter of the late Vernon Wright and Magdalene Crump Wright. She was born on Monday, November 20, 1939 in Hart County, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She was 73 years, 10 months, and 18 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Allendale Missionary Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • A son and daughter-in-law: Joseph "Jody" and Shawn Ford of Greensburg, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Shelby Ford of Greensburg, KY; and Ryan Seth Ford of Leitchfield, KY

  • Two sisters: Shirley Wright Smith of Munfordville, KY; and Burnett Wright Pence of Bonnieville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Ford on December 17, 1982, and Richard Ford on July 24, 1988; and a brother: Hubert Mitchell Wright. Send a condolence to the family of Doris Wright Ford
