Mrs. Mary Marie Budd, 93, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be private.



Mrs. Budd was the daughter of the late Clinton and Ella (Halbert) Payne. When she wasn't painting and crafting, Mrs. Budd loved to be outside where she could breathe fresh air and watch her hummingbirds. She had united in marriage to Wilfred P. Budd, who preceded her in death.


She is survived by:
  • Two daughters: Karen Metz and husband John, of Greensburg, KY; and Camille Craig and husband Mike of Nevada

  • Five siblings: Ellen Kirk of Ohio, Louise Bolland of California, John Payne of Ohio, Joe Payne of Virginia, and Dave Payne of California

  • Two grandchildren

  • And two great-grandchildren
Mrs. Budd was preceded in death by, her husband, Wilfred P. Budd; her parents, Clinton and Ella Payne; one sister, Alice Thompson.
