Robert Wayne Perkins was born November 5, 1952 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to the late Virgil and Lucille Edwards Perkins. He departed this life Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of sixty years, ten months and nineteen days.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Steve Latham the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Risen Cemetery, Green County, KY, with full military honors. Visitation will be 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Todd Perkins, Rodney Lemon, Barry Pyles, Andy Perkins, George Perkins, Terry Cox, David Ray Perkins, and Rodney Coomer.

Robert Wayne Perkins was born Wednesday, November 5, 1952 in Cheyenne, Laramie County, Wyoming. He was the son of the late Virgil and Lucille Edwards Perkins. He departed this life Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, having attained the age of 66 years, 10 months and 19 days.

Mr. Perkins had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed masonry contractor.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter-in-law: Jeremiah and Leah Perkins of Lexington, KY; and Isaiah Perkins of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Billy Joe Perkins of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Sandra Carol Faulkner of Louisville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Briley Perkins

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
