Reba Bybee, Adair County, KY (1945-2013)

She was a native of Adair County, KY, and a member of a respected local family. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lissie Burton. Her husband, Billy Bybee, survives. She leaves 11 direct living descendants. She was a member of Columbia Church of Christ and a retired factory worker of Fruit of the Loom.

Reba Bybee, 68, of Columbia, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2:25amCT, at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow, KY.

The funeral service is, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 9amCT/10amET, Wednesday, September 18, 2013.

She was born Friday, March 23, 1945, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lissie Burton. She died Monday, September 16, 2013, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 24 days.

She was a member of Columbia Church of Christ and a retired factory worker of Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Bybee of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Harold Burton of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Beverly Smith and Ginger Eaton both of Columbia, KY

  • Five sisters: Betty Dudley, Carolyn Moore, Annette Burton and Mildred Thomas all of Columbia, KY; and Geneva Fleek of Ohio

  • Five grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren
