He was a native of Adair County, KY, the son of Lillie Coomer Stephens, who survives, and the late Maurice Coomer. He was a resident of Russell County at the time of his death. His wife, Robin Collins Coomer, survives. He leaves two direct living descendants. He was a factory worker

Dwayne T. Coomer, 48, Hwy 1729, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 7pmCT, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 with Bro. Daryl Coe officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday.

He was born December 8, 1964, in Columbia, Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Maurice Coomer, and Lillie Coomer Stephens, who survives. He died Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 48 years, 8 months, and 30 days.

He was a factory worker.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Collins Coomer, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • His mother: Lillie Stephens, Columbia, KY

  • His sons: Jimmy Coomer of AR; and Matthew Coomer, Columbia, KY

  • His brother: Dennis Coomer, Russell Springs, KY

  • His sister: Patricia Phelps, of Michigan

  • And a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Coomer.

The family requests memorial donations to St. Judes Children's Hosital.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
