She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sally Taylor Gentry. She was a homemaker and member of the Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Clarence Chapman survives. She leaves 9 direct living descendants

Geneva Bernice Chapman age 81 of Knob Lick, KY, died Thursday, August 23, 2013 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1:30pmCT, Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitaton will be 4pm-8pmCT, fSaturday and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sally Taylor Gentry. She was a homemaker and member of the Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband Clarence Chapman of Knob Lick, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons, Kenneth Chapman and Marty Chapman (Wife Ann) all of Knob Lick, KY

  • One brother: Howard Gentry of Glasgow, KY

  • Two sisters: Renna Page of Glasgow, KY; and Velma Ruth Edwards of Greenwood, IN

  • Five grandsons: Lynn Chapman, Micky Compton, Stevie Compton, Jamie Compton and Nathanel Bryant
  • Two granddaughters: Martina Chapman and Morgan Priddy.

    Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
