Mr. Henry Clay Glover, 75, of Liberty, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Henry Clay Glover will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Pine Grove Church in Liberty, KY with Bro. Jeffrey Edwards officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY, in charge of the funeral arrangements. Visitation is requested from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Friday at the Pine Grove Church and after 8amCT/9amET, Saturday, August 17, 2013 until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Darrell Glover, Norman Glover, Willard Glover, David Glover, Derek Brock, and Ben Scott.

Henry Clay Glover, Liberty, KY (1938-2013)

Mr. Henry Clay Glover of Liberty, was the son of the late Charles Bryant Glover and Nannie Lee Tucker Glover. He was born on February 19, 1938 in Liberty, Casey County, KY and died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in in Danville, Boyle Countym, KY. He was 75 years,5 months, and 26 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pine Grove Church in Liberty, and was a farmer.

Survivors include the following:
  • Four daughters and two sons-in-law: Janet and Bryan Purvis of Green County, KY; Marsha Dews of Frankfort, KY; Leeann Brock of Liberty, KY; and Bernadine and Billy Douglas of Junction City, KY

  • A son: Charles Glover of Nashville, TN
  • BR>
  • Nine grandchildren: Brandi Elmore, Amanda Vaught, Melissa Griffith, Meredith Vest, Ben Scott, Samantha Gomez, Kaitlyn Combs, Megan Carpenter, and Derek Brock

  • Thirteen great-grandchildren

  • Five brothers and two sisters-in-law: Donald Glover of Elkorn, KY; Willard Glover, Garnett Truman and Donna Glover, David Glover all of Liberty, KY; and Norman and Pam Glover of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Five sisters and a brother-in-law: Lorena Workman of Florida, Barbara and Darrell Wethington, Mary Woodrum, Dollie Tucker all of Liberty, KY; and Carol "Karen" Fair of Elizabethtown, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Glover was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Christine Glover, Lucy Nancy Garrett, Earl Glover and Murel Glover.

Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home or at the church.
