He was a member of a highly regarded Adair County family. He was the son of Reba Pennington Redmon, who survives, and the late Luther Ray Redmon. His wife, Beverly Akin Redmon, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was a truck driver for over 30 years and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church

Robbin Ray Redmon age 51 years of Greensburg Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Thursday August 15, 2013 at 5:26pmCT, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, August 18, 2013at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmie Dale Cox & Bro. Gary Daughtery officiating. Interment will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT/1pmET, at the funeral home.



Robbin Ray Redmon, Adair County, KY (1962-2013)

He was born Tuesday, May 15, 1962 in Columbia, KY. He was the son of the late Luther Ray Redmon & Reba Pennington Redmon, who survives. He died Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 51 years, 3 months.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Beverly Akin Redmon, of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters and one son: Rebecca Renee' Redmon, Emily Shay Redmon, and Michael Ray Redmon of Columbia, KY

  • Father-in-law & mother-in-law: David & Pauline Feese Akin

  • One special friend: James Garrison of Columbia, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
