By Chris Lewis, Adair County Boys Golf Coach

Tuesday August 13, 2013 ACHS boys golf team travelled to Green County to take on the Dragons. Leading the way for Adair County was Austin Cundiff with a 37.

Riley Grant and Daniel Rarey both shot a 38, Tanner Garmon 39 and Blake Maupin rounded out the top five with a 451. Team total was a 152 and Green County shot a team total of 188 which brings the Indians record to a 4-0.

The JV team was led by Zach Pyles, Jamison Miller and Jacob Keltner each firing a 47. Joseph Farmer ended up with a 49 for a team total of 191 to beat Green County\'s JV team which shot a 215.

I'm very proud of all of the players. It was the first time to have four scores in the 30\'s from the varsity and it was the JV\'s first time to have four scores in the 40\'s. I know we are on the right track because because it is reflected in the scores. This was a total team win today. - Chris Lewis
