Holley Madison Claywell Guffey, age 19, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1pmCT, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Nickie Richards officiating. Burial will be in the Gilbert Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The Family will receive friends after 5pmCT, on Thursday, August 15, 2013 until the funeral hour on Friday.

She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Monday, April 25, 1994. She was the daughter of David Claywell and Paula Dyer Bryant. She died Monday, August 12, 2013, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 19 years, 3 months, and 17 days.

She was a member of The Liberty United Methodist Church and a Homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Layman Claywell, and her uncle, Clayton Claywell.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her father: David Claywell of Burkesville, KY

  • Her mother: Paula Dyer Bryant

  • Her husband: Tyler Guffey, of Burkesville, KY, whom she wed Friday, August 10, 2012

  • Her grandmother: Martha Claywell, of Burkesville, KY

  • Her step-daughter: Dixie Guffey of Monticello, KY

  • Her siblings: Kaddie Graham of Burkesville, KY: Brianna Claywell of Lexington, KY; Jacqueline Stearns of Albany, KY, and Buddy Bryant of Burkesville, KY
The family would appreciate contributions to The Gilbert Family Cemetery in her memory - c/o Martha Claywell, PO Box 724, Burkesville, Kentucky 42717.
