She was a native of Greenup County, KY and a former resident of Taylor County, KY. Her husband, Bro. Dan Hunt of Oak Grove, with Faith Family Ministries and former pastor of Elk Horn Baptist Church, Elk Horn, KY and Beech Grove Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, survives. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Faith Family Ministries. She leaves five direct living descendants

Sharon Morrison Hunt, 64, of Oak Grove, KY, died at 5pmCT, Sunday, August 11, 2013, in Oak Grove, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Wayne Kuhner. Burial will be in Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Wendell Clark, James Hammond, Cade Hunt, Danny Hunt, Josh Hunt, Trey Hunt, and Chris Vandergriff.
Sharon Morrison Hunt, Taylor County, KY (1949-2013)


Sharon Morrison Hunt was the daughter of the late Walter Morrison and Gladys Maynard Morrison. She was born in Worthington, Greenup County, KY, Sunday, April 3, 1949. She died Sunday, August 11, 2013, in Oak Grove, Christian County, KY at the age of 64 years, 4 months, and 8 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Faith Family Ministries.

She united in marriage to Bro. Daniel S. Hunt Sr. May 23, 1968.

Besides her husband, Bro. Dan Hunt of Oak Grove, with Faith Family Ministries and former pastor of Elk Horn Baptist Church, Elk Horn, Taylor County, KY and Beech Grove Baptist Church in Campbellsville, KY. she is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and two sons: Marci Elizabeth Hunt of Oak Grove, KY; Joshua Carl Hunt of Louisville, KY; and Danny Hunt and wife, Alecia of Burlington, KY

  • Two grandsons: Trey Hunt and Cade Hunt

  • One sister and two brothers: Linda Carson and husband, Ken of Columbus, Ohio; Walter (Butch) Morrison and wife, Shirley of Muncie, IN; and Dennis Morrison and wife, Sheila of Worthington, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Vandergriff.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
