Robert J. "Bobby" Wilson age 75 years of Columbia, KY, passed away Monday July 22, 2013 at 1:18pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Elder Ruel Boils the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery, 4350 Milltown Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 2pmCT/3pmET, Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the funeral home.

Robert J. "Bobby" Wilson, Adair County, KY (1938-2013)

He was born on June 14, 1938 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was the son of the late Ray & Stella Blance Perry Wilson. He died Monday, July 22, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 1 months, and 8 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Four sons: Dennis (Deana) Wilson of Columbia, KY; Billy (Diane) Wilson of Columbia, KY; Robbie Wilson of Covington, KY; and Donnie Wilson of Hodgenville, KY

  • Four daughters: Rita Wilson of Columbia, KY; Pamela (Larry) Carter of Independence, KY; Dee Dee Wilson of Covington, KY; and Mellissia (Charles) Cooper of Texas

  • One brother: Ben Wilson of Greensburg, KY

  • Four sisters: Marilyn Baker and Bertha Hortsman of Columbia, KY; and Nellie Boone and Patricia England of New Haven, KY

  • Sixteen grandchildren

  • Three great grandchildren

  • Two expected grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He attended the Holiness Church.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, in charge of funeral arrangements.
