William "Bill" Decker, 56, of Russell Springs, KY died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital.

Funeral service for William (Bill) Decker will be 12pmCT/1pmET, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Mt. Calvary community Church with Bro. Clifford DeHart and Bro. Josh Robertson officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Cold Springs Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Josh Cheek, David Asberry, Dennnis Chumbley, Chris Franklin, Ernie Vaughn, and Josh Knight.

He was born Saturday, January 19, 1957 in Iowa City, Iowa to John Decker and the late Ruth Marie Handley Decker. He died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 56 years, 6 months, and 1 day.

He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville, KY.

Survivors include the following:
  • His father: John Decker, Iowa

  • One sister: Trudy Decker, Iowa City, Iowa

  • Three brothers: John Decker, Lonnie Decker, both of Iowa; and Keith Decker, Illinois

  • A special friend of 23 years, Cora Mae Lloyd
