Bernis Oneal Spoonamore, age 74 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with burial in Thompson-Webb Cemetery in Clay County, TN. Family requests visitation 6pm/9pmCT/7pm-10pmET, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.

Oneal was born on Friday, February 17, 1939 in Clay County, TN. he was the son of the late Wille E. and Pansy P. Watson Thompson. She died Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 5 monhths, and 3 days.

She was a retired employee of General Motors and was a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Spoonamore and one daughter Kathy Elaine Davis. Survivors include the following:
  • Two sisters: Betty Yvonne Davis of Burkesville, KY and Patricia Ann Hale of Greenwood, IN

  • Two nieces: Deborah K. Tarry of Martinsville, IN and Alisa A. Whitaker of Martinsville, IN

  • One nephew: Ryan Hale of Greenwood, IN

  • Nine great nieces and nephews

  • Seven great great nieces and nephews

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Ballou & Stotts, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
