Randall Rudolph (Rudy) Campbell, Adair Co., KY (1935-2013)

He was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County Family, the son of the late Gordie & Mable Campbell. His wife of 56 years, Mary Enna Breeding Campbell, survives. He leaves 8 direct living descendants. Mr. Campbell was a retired salesperson at Wooten's Department Store - later Loy's Department Store - in Columbia. He was an active member of Antioch United Methodist Church having made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ a number of years ago.

Randall Rudolph "Rudy" Campbell, age 78 years passed away Tuesday evening, July 16, 2013 at his home in the Sparksville Community of Adair County, KY.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Troy Elmore the officiating cler3212 Wheeler Hill Road, Sparksville, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmEt, Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the funeral home.



Randall Rudolph (Rudy) Campbell, Adair Co., KY (1935-2013)

He was born on Friday, May 3, 1935. He was the son of the late Gordie & Mable Rowe Campbell. He died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 13 days. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary E. Breeding Campbell, and the following:
  • One daughter: Leslie Smith & her husband Bill of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • One son: John Campbell & his wife Shirley of Columbia, KY
  • Three grandsons: Chris, Brian and Cameron

  • Three great grandchildren

  • And a host of relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one brother Donald E. Campbell Mr. Campbell was a retired salesperson at Wooten's Department Store which was later Loy's Department Store in Columbia. He was an active member of Antioch United Methodist Church having made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ a number of years ago.

Memorials are suggested to the Antioch Cemetery, or Gideon Bibles and may be made at the funeral home.
