Muriel Gene Tedder, 80, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Knifley, Adair County, KY, died at 2:20amCT, Wednesday July 10, 2013 in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday, July 13. 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Paul W. Patton. Entombment will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Muriel Gene Tedder, son of the late William Sherman Tedder and Hettie Bernice Rich Tedder, was born April 24, 1933, in Adair County, KY. He died ih Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the age of 80 years, 2 months. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith.

He was a retired employee of the Adair County School System.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Steve Tedder of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandsons: Michael Tedder and Sean Tedder of Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Marie Merritt of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters: Earl Tedder, Walter Tedder, Carl Tedder, Dean Tedder, Velma Douglas, Alma Brandenburg, Kathryn Hutchison, Frances Cleary, Faye Thornley and Wanda Tedder.
