Sandy Beach is closed due to flooding

By Larry Smith, 99.9 FM, the Big Dawg

Sandy Beach on Lone Valley Road is closed due to flood waters. Water is rising faster in Green River Lake than the Corps of Engineers can discharge without causing flooding down Green River Lake between the dam in Taylor County and Greensburg, KY.

If possible, I'll get photos. Reports are that the water is up in the picnic area. - Larry Smith, Operations Director, Shoreline Communications
