Evelyn Moore, 15, is youngest vendor at Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market on the Square encourages young entrepreneurs

By Barbara Armitage

The Farmer's Market on the Square welcomes its newest and youngest member, 15 year old Evelyn Moore.

Evelyn first started sewing at age 8 making clothes for her favorite little stuffed dog Katie. By age 11 she had advanced on to larger projects making this cherished quilt for her mother.

It was soon evident that Evelyn had an eye for color and design. She began to draw and paint and now at the grand age of 15 Evelyn has become a young entrepreneur joining her aunt and uncle, Danny and Debbie Burris at the Farmer's Market on the Square.

Evelyn displays her artwork and crafts at the D&D Longview Angus booth. Stop by often to see her newest work.
Evelyn is the daughter of Billy Joe and Angela Moore.

Do you have a young entrepreneur in your family? The Farmer's Market on the Square welcomes young farmers, gardeners and craftspeople. Vendors 16 and under qualify for a free booth space to help them start their business. Contact Barbara Armitage, market coordinator at 270-250-2979 for more information. - Barbara Armitage
