He was the son of the late Bobby Joe Turner and the late Bobbie Lee Hensley Turner. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Pennington Turner. He leaves 3 direct living descendants

Mr. Billy Joe Turner of Columbia, Kentucky a native of Green County, KY, son of Bobby Joe Turner and the late Bobbie Lee Hensley Turner, was born on June 29, 1978 in Taylor County, and departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2013 at his home in Adair County. He was 34 years, 11 months, and 26 days of age. The funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Turner will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Cliffton Sullivan, and Carl Froedge will be officiating. Visitation was from 4pm-9pmCT, Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and will be after 7 amCT, Thursday until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Billy Joe Turner of Columbia, Kentucky a native of Green County, KY, son of Bobby Joe Turner and the late Bobbie Lee Hensley Turner, was born on June 29, 1978 in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2013 at his home in Adair County. He was 34 years, 11 months, and 26 days of age.

He was a farmer and attended the Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Pennington Turner having united in marriage on May 15, 2005.

Other survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Hunter, Hayden and Heath Turner all of Columbia, KY

  • His father and step-mother: Bobby Joe and Kathy Turner of Greensburg, KY

  • Father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jerry and Beverly Pennington of Columbia, KY

  • A step-brother: Dustin Jones of Lebanon, KY

  • A step-sister: Stephanie Jones of Campbellsville, KY

  • A special friend: Chuck Pennington of Columbia, KY

  • And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
