Yvonne Hughes, 76, of Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services for Yvonne Hughes will be 10amCT/11amET, Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Greg Estes officiating. Friends may call 6pm-8pmCT/7pm-9pmET, Thursday, June 13, 2013. at the funeral home. Burial in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

She was born Monday, April 26, 1937 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ottis and Josie Rexroat Tarter. She died Monday, June 10, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Tarter, Linden Tarter, and one sister, Helen Medaris. Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Clyde Hughes, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three daughters: Lisa (Robert) Sears, Lititz, PA; Michelle (Mike) Felkins, Lebanon, TN; Holly Hughes, Lexington, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Jason, Eric, Joseph, Jacob, Campbell, Candace
The family requests memorials be made to Gideons International. These can be made at the funeral home.
