Funeral Services for Mr. James Walter "Chicken" Grider were conducted on Friday, May 10, 2013 in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating; memories and reflections were shared by his niece, Carolyn Triplett. Burial was in the Leslie Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Moore, Jimmy Moore, Justin Moore, Dakota Wright, Brandon Moore and Lenville Piercy. James Walter (Chicken) Grider, Cumberland Co. KY (1931-2013) He was born on Sunday, May 3, 1931 in Leslie, KY, the son of Earnest E. and Ermine Anderson Grider Branham. He died Tuesday, may 7, 2013, in Franklin, Simpson County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 4 days. He was a farm manager, store clerk, a construction worker, a tree surgeon and was Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Audrey Goolsby, Henry Grider, and Bobbie Jo Grider. He is survived by
