Mr. Phillip Ray Thompson, age 66 of Campbellsville, KY, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, in Florida.

The funeral services for Mr. Phillip Ray Thompson will be conducted at 11amCT/12pm noon ET,, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Latter Day Saints Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery in Sulphur Well, Metcalfe County, KY. Visitation will be 3pm-9pmCT/4pm-10pmET, Tuesday, May 14, 2013, and after 7amCT/8amET, Wednesday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.

He was born May 1, 1947 in Green County, KY. He died May 10, 2013 in Florida at the age of 66 years, 9 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters, two sons and their spouses: Bethany and Jeff Hines of Colorado, Micah and Kirsten Thompson of California, Jason and McCall Thompson of Campbellsville, KY; and Dusty and Brent Majors of Colorado

  • A brother and sister in law: Stephen and Debbie Thompson of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sisters and a brother in law: Linda and Chris Wakild of Louisville, KY; and Evelyn Scott of Bowling Green, KY

  • Several aunts and uncles: Sam and Louise Thompson of Greensburg, KY; Yates and Gail Thompson of North Carolina, KY; Audra Simpson of Bowling Green, KY; Margaret and Charles Shuffett of Murray, KY; Jane Squires of Ohio; Connie Squires of Arizona, and Kevin and Kay Squires of Indianapolis.

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
