Stevie Kidd, U.S. Veteran, Casey Co. Ky (1955-2013)

He was a U.S. Army veteran, farmer, and mechanic. He was a member of the Hwy 78 Full Gospel Deliverance Church. Stevie was an avid outdoorsman and deer hunter. He was a native of Lincoln County, KY, the son of the late Joseph . and Norma J. Carpenter Kidd. He is surved by his wife, Linda Grider Kidd. He leaves 13 direct living descendants

Stevie Kidd of Gravel Switch, KY passed away Friday April 26, 2013 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. He was 57. Memorial service is at 4:30pmCT/5:30pmET, Tuesday April 30, 2013 at the Highway 78 Full Gospel Deliverance Church with Bro. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the church from 1pmCT/2pmET, until memorial service. Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born Wednesday, June 22, 1955 in Lincoln County, KY. He was the son of the late Joseph J. and Norma J. Carpenter Kidd. He died Friday, April 26, 2013, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

He was an Army veteran, farmer and a mechanic. He was a member of the Hwy 78 Full Gospel Deliverance Church. Stevie was an avid outdoorsman and deer hunter.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda Grider Kidd of Gravel Switch, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Daniel Kidd of Gravel Switch, KY; and Steven Kidd of Liberty, KY

  • His daughter: Stephanie Kidd Johnson of Crab Orchard, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • A great-grandchild

  • His brother: James Kidd of Waynesburg, KY

  • His sister: Dottie Jean Mobley of McKinney, KY
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, Ky, in charge of arrangements.
