Imogene Pyles age 70 years of Columbia, KY passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 9:52amCT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be: Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church, 1338 Barnett's Creek Road, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Barry Bradshaw the officiating clergy. Interment in the Quinn Cemetery, 236 Tucker Warren Road, Knifley, KY. The family request visitation after 4pmCT/5pmET, on Friday and 7am-10:30amCT/8am-11:30ET on Saturday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home and after 11amCT/12pmET, until service time at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday at the Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church.

She was born February 9, 1943 in Knifley, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hershel and Betty Quinn West. She died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 15 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Pyles on July 30, 2012 and by one sister Odene Pyles on February 10, 2012.

Survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Jamie Reynolds of Columbia, KY; Teresa Mondie of Campbellsville, KY; and Betty Overstreet and husband William of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Jr. West of Knifley, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren

  • An a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Pyles was a member of the Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
