Glen DeHart, Casey County, KY (1955-2013)

Glen worked twenty -seven years for the city of Liberty Utilities Department. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Community Church and former member of the Masonic Lodge. For over twenty years, Glen was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Liberty Fire Department & EMS. He was an avid musician

Glen DeHart passed away Saturday April 6, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was 58.

Funeral services are at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 792 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Allen Roberts officiating. Burial is at South Fork Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, April 8, 2013, 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Billy DeHart, Jordan and Trevor Lewis, Andy Derringer, Kendall Caudill and Paul Wilkerson.

He was born March 22, 1955 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of Clifford Dehart and the late Nellie Rose Lee Dehart. He died Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 58 years, 15 days.

Glen worked twenty -seven years for the city of Liberty Utilities Department. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Community Church and former member of the Masonic Lodge. For over twenty years, Glen was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Liberty Fire Department & EMS. He was avid musician.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Brenda Derringer Dehart of Hustonville, KY, and the following:
  • His father: Clifford (and Phyllis) DeHart of Dunnville, KY

  • Daughters: Glenda (and Kendall) Caudill of Waynesburg, KY; and Misty (and Mitch) Roberts of Hustonville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Jordan, Trevor, Kendra, and Lindsay

  • Brother: Ronald (and Kim) DeHart of Dunnville, KY

  • Three sisters: Lois (and Paul) Wilkerson of Windsor, KY; and Nancy DeHart and Pam Smith both of Dunnville, KY
