Joe Caldwell, 68, Greensburg, KY, departed this life Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral service will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 693 Haskinsville Road (MAP), Greensburg, KY at 11amCT/12pmET, Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Monday, April 1, 2013, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, and after 9amCT/10amET, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Emmanuel Young will render the eulogy. Rev. Michael Caldwell will be Master of Ceremony. Interment will be in the Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville, Green County, KY.



Pallbearers: Joe Bridgewater, Jr., Michael Ingram, George Caldwell, Jr., Greg Caldwell, Leroy Caldwell, Jr., and Isaac M. Caldwell.

Honorary Pallbearers: George Johnson, Jr., John Curry, U.J. Wood, William Haskins, Mann, Thornton, and Arzo Miller.

Joe Caldwell was born Monday March 19, 1945 in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Charlie and Nina Anderson Caldwell. He departed this life Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, having attained the age of 68 years, and 8 days of age.

Joe had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he served as lead singer in the choir. He was a member of the Greensburg/Green County Civic Club.

He is survived by the following:
  • Five brothers and one sister in law and two sisters and one brother in law: Ina Mae and Elijah Williams of Davenport, IA; Leroy Caldwell of Louisville, KY; Charlie Caldwell of Summersville, KY; Paul Caldwell of Greensburg, KY; Ann Bullitt, Henry and Nannie Caldwell and Nathan Caldwell, all of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
