Lottie Alexander, 68, of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 5:10pmCT at Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center, Columbia.

Funeral service: Monday, April 1, 2013 at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Henry L. Mosley delivering the eulogy. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4125 Johnson School Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: David Johnson, Steven Frazier, Samuel Hughes, Ben Smith, Shawn White, and Ricky Groves.

She was born Thursday, April 1, 1944, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late John R. and Christine Burbridge Miller. She died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • Her son: Kerrick (Valeka) Miller of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Doris Miller of Columbia, KY; Shirlene (Michael) Ingram of Columbia, KY; Georgia Hughes of Louisville, KY; Norlene (Jewell) Smith of Richmond, KY

  • Three brothers: Joe, Barksdale and James Miller all of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Derreck and Za'Kia Miller

  • Several other relatives and friends
