Darren Ballou, Columbia, KY makes NAIA All-Tournament Team Adair County High School standout for Mark Fudge's Indians is finishing senior year at Lindsey at peak of career. See Honors keep pouring in for Darren Ballou from four years ago. - CM Click on headline for story with photo(s) by Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College KANSAS CITY, MO - Lindsey Wilson senior Darren Ballou has been named to the 2013 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball All-Tournament Team, NAIA officials announced tonight following the championship game. Ballou averaged 11 points per game during the tournament while helping the Blue Raiders to the team's first Fab Four in the program's history. The Columbia, KY, senior, scored a career-high 19 points in Lindsey Wilson's 66-60 come-from-behind win over Faulkner (Montgomery, AL) in the tournament's second round. He finished with 13 points in the Blue Raiders' national semifinal loss to SAGU (Waxahachie, TX). Ballou shot 44.1 percent (15-of-34) from the field, including 41.7 percent (10-of-24) from 3-point range. He hit a career-high five threes in the Faulkner win. Ballou finished the season averaging 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game while helping Lindsey Wilson to a 32-5 record. Ballou was joined on the all-tournament team by tournament MVP Monty Wilson (Georgetown), Vic Moses (Georgetown), Jacob French (MidAmerica Nazarene), Mike Nwelue (SAGU), Rodney Milum (LSU-Shreveport), Dominique Rambo (SAGU), Jordan Dressler (Columbia), Marshawn Norris (Culver-Stockton) and Brandon Davis (LSU-Shreveport). In addition to the reaching its first national semifinals, Lindsey Wilson captured the Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles in 2012-13. The 32 wins were the second most in the program's history behind the 2003-04 team's 33 wins. This season marked the third time the program has won 30 or more games.
