Norma Jane Dickerson passed away Thursday March 14, 2013 at Casey County Hospital. She was 67.

Memorial services are 4pmCT, Sunday March 17, 2013 at Liberty United Methodist Church, 108 Hustonville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro Bruce Hiner officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 2pm-4pmCT, at the church. Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Norma Jane Dickerson, Casey County, KY (1945-2013)

Born Monday, November 5, 1945 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jim Frank Ewing and Marjorie Beatrice Carmicle Richards. She was a homemaker and member of the Liberty United Methodist Church. Norma was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and worked seventeen years in the business office at Casey County Hospital. Survivors include her husband, John Dickerson, of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Becky Copass of Bowling Green, KY; Rachel Mullins of Danville, KY; and Rosemary (and Rick) Scott of Liberty, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Three great grandchildren

  • Three brothers: Steve Richards of Danville, KY; and Dickie and David Richards of Indiana

  • Two sisters: Nancy Bartle and Judy Allen both of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, John W. Dickerson, I ; a granddaughter, Alexandra Grace Dickerson; and sister, Carol Lipscomb.
