Lonnie G. Scott age 53 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, March 08, 2013 at his home. Lonnie was born on Wednesday, February 10, 1960 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Reno and Myrtle Stephens Scott. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Beggie Scott, and two sisters, Sue Scott and Libby Scott.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Dr. Mark Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Burkesville Cemetery, N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family requests visitation 5:30pm-9pmCT/6:30pm-10pmET, Saturday, March 09, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Lonnie G. Scott age 53 of Burkesville, KY was born on Wednesday, February 10, 1960 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Reno and Myrtle Stephens Scott. He died Friday, March 08, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 53 years and 26 days.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Beggie Scott, and two sisters, Sue Scott and Libby Scott.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Linda Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • Two daughters: Angela Hickey and her husband John of Burkesville, KY and Elizabeth Scott and her friend Chad Spears of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sons: Timmy Wayne Alexander and Todd Scott both of Burkesville, KY

  • Special son: Anthony Smith of Burkesville, KY

  • Two Brothers: Jonah Scott of Albany, KY and Tony Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • Five Sisters: Faye Stearns, Mary Stearns, and Brenda Scott all of Albany, KY and Wanda Dunbar and Linda Lee both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Lily and Molly Hickey, Madison Alexander, Akeelah Alexander, Raelyn Alexander, and Latrel Alexander, and one expectant grandchild Daisy Hickey along with several nieces and nephews.
