Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Garlin Wilson and Bro. Daryl Coe officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 3pmCT/4pmET, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the funeral home.

He was born December 16, 1955, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. He as the son of the late Hollis Cain and the late Nora Alice Wilson Cain. He died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 2 months, and 17 days.

He was a horse trainer and owner of Cain's Thoroughbreds of Russell Springs, KY. He was a member of Bethlehem Sepaarate Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Burton Cain, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • A daughter, Alison, wife of Evan Claunch, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three sisters: Janet Owens and Bonnie Berreth, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Brenda Cain, Barbourville, KY

  • Three brothers: Gary Cain, Jim Cain, and Ted Cain, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Alex and Natalie
