Mr. Morris Truman Perkins of Buffalo, KY departed this life on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

Services for Mr. Morris Truman Perkins were held at 1:30pmCT/2:30pmET, Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Lebanon National Cemetery, Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Mr. Morris Truman Perkins of Buffalo, Kentucky, was the son of the late C.L. Perkins and Lucille Bishop Perkins Bloyd. He was born on January 9, 1947 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. He was 66 years, 1 month, and 17 days of age. He was a service technician for Sears, and a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Aaron and Tammy Perkins of Buffalo, KY; and Mitchell Perkins of Sonora, KY

  • A daughter and son in law: Nora and David Gregory of Edmonton, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Austin Jaggers, Caleb Jaggers both of Edmonton, KY; Jarred Perkins, Taylor Perkins both of Summersville, KY; and Aaron Perkins, and Nikki Perkins both of Buffalo, KY

  • Two brothers: Robert Perkins, and David Perkins both of Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister: Teresa Richerson of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
