Mrs. Gwendoleneæ "Gwen" Roach Perkins Agle, age 85, of Apache Junction, Arizona formerly of Cumberland County, Kentucky passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013 in Arizona.

Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Friends may visit after 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Sunday until the funeral hour.

She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Friday, September 23, 1927 the daughter of George Haggard and Nettie Rush Roach. She died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Apache Junction, Arizona, at the age of 85 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

She was of the Baptist Faith, was a Homemaker and formerly employed by RCA.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George Thomas Perkins; her son, Ronnie Perkins; her daughters, Margaret Perkins and Deneta Perkins; her brothers, Paul Roach, Hall Roach, Howard Roach and Ray Roach; her sisters, Opal Coop, Doris Kennedy and Bernice Key.

She is survived by her husband, Garland Agle of Arizona, and the following:
    Her childrenL Larry Thomas (and Michelle) Perkins of Florida, Danny (and Terri) Perkins of Arizona, Karen Kay (and Patrick) Fleming of Arizona, and Sharon Kay Perkins of Arizona
  • Her sisters: Dulcie Lynch of Indiana, Vernie Upton of Nebraska, and Fay Tinsley of Burkesville, KY

  • Grandchildren: Danielle Perkins, Lauren Perkins, Buddy Perkins, Debbie Perkins, Chris Perkins, John Perkins, Tammy Perkins, Sean Fleming and Kelly Fleming

  • Several great grandchildren
