Ed Diddle photo was by Edgar Allen, Jr.

Ralph Waggener writes:
The photo of Ed Diddle that Historian Mike Watts found was shot by Edgar Allen, Jr., a man who is on my list of best people I've ever known. Allen was the sports editor for the Nashville Banner for 18 years before going to Louisville as the Director of Communications for Churchill Downs. He had a perfect Nashville drawl which made me enjoy talking to him. He was a perfect gentleman in every way. Everyone was given equal treatment by Edgar no matfer what walk of life they came from - quite seldom seen now. Mr. Allen died in July 9, 2008. - Ralph Waggener
