Bill Pendleton, Adair County, KY (1953-2013)

He was a native of Casey County, KY and the patriarch of a large, respected Northeast Adair County family with many family ties centered around Dunnville, KY. He was the son of the late John and Dorothy Lee Pendleton. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Sallee Pendleton and leaves a total of 17 direct living descendants and one step descendant. Bill Pendleton passed away Saturday February 2, 2013 at his home in Adair County. He was 59.

Funeral services will be at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church, 1338 Barnett's Creek Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Burial is at Barnetts Creek Cemetery beside the church. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT/ 6pm-9pmET, Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.



Pallbearers are Shawn and Toby Pendleton, Jamey Neat, Shane Irvin , Ray Maslen, Cody Neat, Bradley Maslen and Kyle Neat.

Born April 26, 1953 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late John and Dorothy Lee Pendleton. He died Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Adair County, Kentucky, at the age of 59 years, 9 months, and 6 days. He was a building contractor and gate salesman. Bill was a member of Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church, Pellyton, Adair County, KY.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Sallee Pendleton of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Shawn (Sovanna) Pendleton and Toby (Kristyna) Pendleton both of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Myra (Jamey) Neat of Columbia, KY; Angel (Ray) Maslen of Dunnville, KY; and Amy (Shane) Irvin of Liberty, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren Cody: Kyle, Gracey and Lily Neat, Kaylie and Kylie Pendleton , Bradley , Grayson and Gage Maslen, and Brayden, Payton and Addison Irvin

  • Step grandchild: Chloe Firkins

  • Three brothers: Morris Pendleton of Liberty, KY; and Monte Pendleton and Mike Pendleton both of Dunnville

  • Two sisters: Bonnie Meeks of Columbia, KY; and Janett Meeks of Dunnville, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Wesley Pendleton and Russell Pendleton and sister, Loren Goodin.

Arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
