Funeral service Monday, January 28, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Bob McCann officiating. Interment will be in the Weed Cemetery at Gradyville, KY Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, at the funeral home. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Tuesday, July 24, 1934 in Adair County, KY She was the daughter of the late Marvin Allen and Avis Mildred Wilson Coomer. She died Friday, January 25, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 1 day.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Ripley, of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • One daughter: Patricia (Terry) Willis of Columbia, KY

  • One son Roger (Betty) Pickett of Knob Lick, KY

  • Two brothers James Allen (Barbara) Coomer of Columbia, KY and Larry (Jenifer) Coomer of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Sixteen great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by three children Mike Pickett, Greg Pickett and Kim Poston.
