Glenda Sue Downey, 44, of Jamestown, KY, died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Adair County, KY, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services for Glenda Sue Downey will be 10amCT/11amET, Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call after 6pmCT/7pmET, Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Bernard Funeral Home. Rev. Ted Stidham and Rev. Scott Proctor will be the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Tara Tucker.

She was born Saturday, January 27, 1968. She was the daughter of the late Rex High and Mary Huff, who survives. She died Monday, January 21, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 44 years, 11 months, and 25 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Dunnville Church of God Preceded in death by her father, Rex High Survivors include the following:

  • Her husband: Troy Downey, Jamestown KY

  • Two children: Tryston Downey, and Dillon Downey, Jamestown, KY

  • Her mother: Mary Huff, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Roger High, Liberty; Timothy Duncan, Columbia, KY; and Troy, in the military
