Johnny Wayne Dial, 46, of Glasgow, Ky formerly of Columbia, KY died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Randy Shaw officiating. Burial in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 9amCT/10amET, Wednesday.



Casket Bearers: Sam DeRossett, Ryan Dial, Will Bowling, Robert Biggerstaff, Mitchell Dial and Zack Dial.

Honorary Casket Bearers: Tommy Dial, Austin Dial, Doug DeRossett and Timmy Franklin.

He was born March 6, 1966, in Jacksonville, Morgan County, IL. He was the son of William and Ople Crawhorn Dial, who survive. He died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Asheville, Buncombe County, NC, at the age of 46 years, 10 months, and 6 days.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Dial.

He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY, and was a long time truck driver, currently working for Anderson Trucking Company.

He is survived by:
  • His parents: William and Ople Crawhorn Dial of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Austin Kennedy Dial of Glasgow, KY

  • His fiance': Julie Bybee of Glasgow, KY

  • Three brothers: Alford (Charlotte) Dial of Taylorsville, Mitchell (Pam) Dial and Tommy Dial all of Columbia, KY

  • Two Sisters: Kathy (Doug) DeRossett & Backy (Mike) Paradee all of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
