Mr. Neumon Elleck Parker, 86, of Summersville, KY, departed this life on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Neumon Elleck Park will be conducted at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Bro. Kelvin Edwards will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-9pmCT/5pm-10pmET, Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amET, Monday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jeff Benningfield, Norman Benningfield, Phillip Moss, Mike Akin, Donald Durrett, Ervin Miller, Jackie Rose and Mark Wright.

Honorary Pallbearers: Winfred Berry, Wilbert Bennett, Chapman Moss, Jack Howell, Wm. Howard Brewer, Mavis Scottm Hubert Wright, and Morris Goff.

Mr. Neumon Elleck Parker was the son of the late Harvey Linwood Parker and Addie Whitlow Parker. He was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1926 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. He was 86 years, 8 months, and 15 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired Mechanic for the Kentucky State Highway Department, and also a Veteran having served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Naomi J. Miller Parker of Summersville, having united in marriage on August 12, 1944. Other survivors include:
  • A daughter and son in law: Rita Parker Milby and Ranny Milby of Greensburg, KY

  • A grandson: Trent Milby of Lebanon, KY, and his girlfriend: Kiyonta Goodin and her daughter: Kyvin Goodin-Rogers

  • A granddaughter: Creshauna Milby of Greensburg, KY

  • A great grandson: Elijah Cantley of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
