Photography: Camera, settings for Marrowbone eagle shot Kelli Claypool writes: This is in response to George's question. Thanks to George Rice for the nice compliment. It was amazing to see such a majestic bird. I was approximately 500 feet away from the eagle and was able to take quite a few pictures. The camera that I was using is a Nikon P510 with a wide 42x Zoom Nikkor.
