Bennie Wayne Meece, 68,of Windsor Community, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services for Benny Meece will be 2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Cedar Springs United Baptist Church, KY 910, Windsor, KY with burial in the Cedar Springs Cemetery. Friends may call after 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Cedar Springs United Baptist Church. Bro. Ensley Wright will be the officiating clergy.



Bennie Wayne Meece, Windsor Community (1944-2013)


He was born Friday, May 12, 1944 in Windsor, KY. He was the son of the late Henry and Sylvia (Richardson) Meece. He died Thursday, January 3, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 7 months, and 22 days. He is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Bennie (Dana) Meece, Largo, Florida; and Shelly Hippely, Lafayette, IN

  • Eight grandchildren: Taylor, Shane, Curtis, Jacob, Amanda, Julie, Stephanie, Solena

  • One great grandchild: Amira

  • Two brothers: Carl (Carol) Meece, Liberty, KY; and Douglas (Janice) Meece, Oxford, IN

  • One sister: Gola McDonald, Danville, IN

  • Two aunts: Lola Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY; and Colleen Foley, Somerset, KY

  • One uncle: Glendo Richardson, Kings Mills, Ohio
