Marshall (Slim) Branham, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2012)

He was a retired employee of the Cumberland Co. Fiscal Court retiring as road foreman, and was a member of the Marrowbone Fire Department. He was of the Methodist faith and had attended Marrowbone United Methodist Church and Highland Chapel United Methodist Church.

Marshall "Slim" Branham age 75 of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Lanny Garner and Bro. Michael Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Branham Cemetery. The family requests visitation 5pm-9pmCT/6pm-10pmET, on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.



Marshall "Slim" Branham, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2012)


He was born on August 29, 1937 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Jack and Lockie Daniels Branham. He died Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 29 days.

He was a retired employee of the Cumberland Co. Fiscal Court retiring as road foreman, and was a member of the Marrowbone Fire Department. He was of the Methodist faith and had attended Marrowbone United Methodist Church and Highland Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Crawford Branham of Marrowbone, KY, and the following:
  • Four sons: Mark Branham and his wife Donna of Muncie, IN; Troy Branham and his wife Linda of Burkesville, KY; Eric Branham and his wife Lori of Burkesville, KY; and Eddie Branham and his wife Marsha Jo of Marrowbone, KY

  • One daughter: Carolyn White and her husband Jim of Wheelersburg, Ohio

  • Three brothers: James H. Branham of Burkesville, KY; Sherman "Tack" Branham and his wife Wanda of Burkesville, KY; and Earl Branham and his wife Peggy of Marrowbone, KY

  • Two sisters: Robbie Murray and her husband Kenneth of Burkesville, KY; and Margaret Serra and her husband Fred of Glasgow, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Several great grandchildren
