Mr. John Wood Judd, 67, of Greensburg, KY departed this life on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. John Wood Judd will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery, N. Main Street, Greensburg, KY. Bro. Mike Moon will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 9:30amCT/10:30amET, Monday until time of the funeral service, at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Deke DeSimone Jacob DeSimone, Bill Mattingly, Billy Parson, Glen Hancock Joel Costello and Larry Ennis.

Mr. John Wood Judd, Greensburg, KY (1945-2012)

Mr. John Wood Judd was the son of Margaret Ellen Price Judd of Greensburg, KY, and the late Chester Cecil Judd. He was born on September 1, 1945 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY. He was 67 years, three months, and 21 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, and was a former Supervisor for American Airlines.

Besides his mother, he is survived by the following:
  • A sister and brother-in-law: Martha Della Judd Rand and Dr. B.O. Rand of Louisville, KY

  • A niece and nephew: Deke DeSimone and his wife Beth of North Carolina, and Ann DeSimone Mattingly and her husband Bill of Campbellsville, KY

  • Great nieces and nephews: Blaire Bland, Kendra Bland, Carly Bland, Billy Mattingly all of Campbellsville, KY; Jacob DeSimone, and Daniel DeSimone both of North Carolina

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
