Russell C. Neal, Adair County, KY native (d. Dec. 3, 2012)

He was a member of a distinguished Pellyton, Adair County, KY family and has many Adair County relatives. At the time of his death he was a resident of Ohio, where services and interment are scheduled. He served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He attended the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. He loved humor, people, being outdoors, and family gatherings

Russell C. Neal, age 75, of West Carrollton, OH passed away Monday, December 3, 2012.

Visitation is Monday, December 10, 2012 from 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET with funeral service on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at 10amCT/11amET, at the Newcomer Funeral Home SouthChapel, 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH. Pastor Mark Scroggins is officiating. Interment is in Heritage Hills Memorial Garden, 7370 Ohio 48 Springboro, OH.



He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ina Neal, Pellyton, KY; a brother, George Neal, Columbia,KY; and grandparents, Fannie and Finis Neal, Rudolph and Clemmie Beard, all of Adair County, KY. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Frances (nee: Beane) Neal, West Carrollton, OH, and the following:
  • Daughters: Lisa (James) Glenn and Pam (Robert) Knedler

  • Grandson: Rusty Knedler

  • Sisters, Phyllis (Wendell) Neat, Fannie (Randall) Neat, and Kathy (Elroy) Willis

  • And numerous nieces and nephews, many in the Adair County, KY area
Russell served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and he attended the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. He loved humor, people, being outdoors, and family gatherings.
