Wanda Ford, 68, Taylor Co., KY (1944-2012)

She was a member of respected Taylor County family and the widow of John Ford, her husband of 48 years. She leaves four direct living descendantsShe professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.

Wanda Ford of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, died at 5:31 A.M., Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 68.

Funeral services will be at 3pmET/2pmCT, Sunday, December 2, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Lawrence Brockman. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmET, at the funeral home.



Wanda Ford, 68, Taylor Co., KY (1944-2012)


Wanda Ford was the daughter of the late Lacy Bottoms and Floy Spurling Bottoms. She was born Wednesday, January 29, 1944, in Taylor County, KY. She died Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 10 months.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.

She united in marriage to John Ford August 27, 1960. He preceded her in death October 9, 2008.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and daughters in law: Tim and Sheila Ford of Bardstown, KY; and Terry and Kathy Ford of Cox's Creek, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Shawn Ford and wife Amanda of Shepherdsville, KY; and Kristan Spurling of Bardstown, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers Ronald Bottoms and Jim Bottoms.
