Frances L. Wilson, Adair Co., KY (1925-2012)

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the matriarch of a very large family with many relatives in Adair County and elsewhere in Kentucky and in her native Ohio.

Frances L. Wilson age 87 years of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Adair County, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 4:22pmET, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.

Graveside service will be Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11amCT/12 pm noon ET, at Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.



Frances L. Wilson, Adair County, KY (1925-2012)

She was born on January 5, 1925 in Glendale, Hamilton County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Clara Bain Hinds Decker. She died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

She was the widow of Haskell Lee Wilson who preceded her in death on February 1, 1994.

She is survived by the following:
  • Children: Tena Lee Hoey and her late husband George of Nancy, KY; Haskell Lee Wilson and wife Gale of Palatine, IL; Wayne Albert Wilson and wife Sandy of Elgin, IL; Howard Bradley Wilson and wife Betty of Columbia, KY; Russell Lamar Wilson and wife Bonnie of Arizona; Desra Mae Crockett and husband Wayne of Glensfork, KY

  • One sister: Betty Lou Hinkle of Greenville, Ohio

  • Several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren
  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Virl Clayton Chapin, in 1996.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
