Della Frances Hamon Burton, 66, of Georgetown, KY, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 4:27pmET at her residence.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Glen Cappello, Kelly Warren, Fred Warren, Troy Warren, and Tracy Burton.

She was born in Scott County, KY, on December 26, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Carl Francis and Undeeda Underwood Hamon. She died Thursday, November 22, in Georgetown, Scott County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

Survivors include her husband: James Walker "J.W." Burton, Jr., of Georgetown, KY and the following:
  • One son: Jim Burton of Georgetown, KY

  • One daughter: Nita (Glen) Cappello of Georgetown, KY

  • One brother: Carl F. "C.F." Hamon, Jr., of Georgetown, KY

  • One granddaughter: Stephanie Medina

  • Two great granddaughters: Sierra and Selena Medina
