Rethel Shepard,75, Hart Lane, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. McCormack officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Luttrell Cemetery, Liberty, KY.



Rethel Shepard, Russell County, KY (1937-2012)

She was born August 18, 1937, in Liberty, Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the ate Edd Chumbley and the late Adell Pettyjohn Chumbley. She died Thursday, November 15, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 28 days.

She was a seamstress and a member of Union Independent Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Brenda Wooldridge, Russell Springs, KY

  • A son: Roger, husband of Diane Shepard, Russell Springs, KY

  • A sister: Proxedia Owens, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Fred Lawson, Liberty, KY; and Ed "Bill" Chumbley, Jamestown, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren
