Salvation Army Unit of Adair Co., KY needs help

For Angel Tree Program, for Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army Service Unit of Adair County is seeking individuals, churches and other groups to sponsor Angels for the 2012 Angel Tree program. The program works like this: At your request, paper "Angels" with information about an Adair County child will be delivered to you. We request that you purchase gifts for this child and return the gifts to The Salvation Army by December 14, 2012.

Gifts are then given to the family in time for Christmas morning. For more information about this program or to sponsor an Angel, please contact any Family Resource Youth Service Center staff person. Paula Garrison and Angie Smith at 384-9752, Jaime White and Debbie Dunn at 384-6050 and Debbie Cowan at 384-9112.

The Unit is also looking for bell ringers to help with the annual Red Kettle Campaign. This is the chief fundraiser for the local unit each year. Any person interested in ringing the bell for The Salvation Army is asked to contact Ms. Ellen Zornes at 384-3400. - Debbie Cowan
